The weather, currently.
Monday will be a pleasant, mild and sunny day across Massachusetts. Temperatures will top out in to the mid-to-upper 50s across most places, with Boston reaching 57ºF. There will be a cool and brisk northwesterly wind gusting up to 30 mph throughout the afternoon, so be sure to wear a windbreaker to stay warm. Overnight temperatures will drop into the mid 30s with mostly clear skies. We have our eyes on our next rainmaker which will move into the area late Wednesday night.

The first week of spring ushers in the threat of severe weather across the South and Southeast U.S. including tornadoes, hail, and thunderstorms.
Starting on Monday, the severe weather is likely to be most impactful in the eastern half of Texas, bringing the possibility of hail, strong winds, and tornadoes.
Tuesday is likely to be the most intense day, moving to Louisiana and Mississippi. Large tornados are possible and have the potential to occur at night— making them even more dangerous.
On Wednesday, the system will move towards southern Alabama, Georgia, and into northern Florida, the Carolinas.
We are already seeing a highly active tornado season which typically runs from March through May/June and peaks in May. Meteorologists say that drought conditions will fuel a more intense tornado season.
