The weather, currently.

After a ridiculously miserable weather day today, conditions are set to vastly improve for tomorrow just in time for Fri-yay. We’ll start with some areas of fog lingering around then turn over to sunshine for the afternoon. High temperatures will make a much-welcomed and dramatic 20°F rebound into the low 60s to close out the work week. The day will start sunny on Saturday for any morning strolls, dog-walks, or if you’re extra impressive, jogs. Clouds though will increase into late day with a few evening rain showers possible. Highs will punch into the mid 50s for both weekend days before a rude and reminiscent-of-winter blast arrives on Monday with highs temperatures only in the upper 30s. — Lauren Casey

Tomorrow is the big Global Climate Strike organized by Friday’s for the Future. This year, the march is centered around demanding that world leaders prioritize people over profit. This youth-led movement is working to highlight the intersectional nature of the climate crisis while emphasizing how the climate emergency exasperates injustice.
All around the globe people will congregate in person and digitally to demand better from global leaders. You can find a local action or march near you using this map and more information here.
