The weather, currently.
After a few overnight showers with muggy conditions and temperatures in the 60s, it's back to sunshine on Wednesday. Temperatures Wednesday afternoon will rebound into the middle '80s as drier air works in from the northwest. Comfortable conditions for sleeping Thursday night set us up for a beautiful day on Thursday with light wind and highs around 80°F. Another front approach is for Friday with an increase in humidity, and the chance for several more showers. Although, I'm not expecting widespread rain. Presently, the weekend looks beautiful with highs near 80°F along with low levels of humidity.

We have a piece up today from Currently’s editorial fellow, Anna Abraham, on the survival and revitalization of Indigenous languages amid climate change.
“Many Indigenous and traditional languages across the world are deeply rooted in and connected to the environment,” Abraham writes. “Passed down from one generation to the next, often orally, this knowledge enables different ways of connecting to the land and nature. But as climate change intensifies, and ecosystems change as a result, Indigenous languages suffer losses.”
