The weather, currently.

Heat advisories posted into Friday

After a warm and sunny Wednesday we really heat up for tomorrow. Temperatures will rise rapidly reaching 90°F before noon and perhaps eclipsing the century mark in a few towns between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Humidity levels will also increase. It will be very warm Thursday night with readings struggling to fall below 80°F in the city and remaining in the 70s elsewhere. Friday is hot and humid with highs 95°F to 100°F and the chance for some scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Some of these storms could be accompanied by tropical downpours and Gusty winds but I don't expect any widespread severe weather. The weekend continues hot.
