The weather, currently.

A cool seabreeze kept temperatures in the 50s for Patriots Day and they'll fall into the 40s overnight as rain moves in after midnight. There is a wind advisory along the coastline but a high wind warning for the cape in the islands until early Tuesday. The rain will come to an end by about 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. followed by mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 50s. Look for Sunshine to return for the middle of the week as high as stay in the upper 50s and rise to near 60 by Thursday Friday's even milder with highs in the mid 60s.

Check out the latest Currently Explainer! Currently’s managing editor Zaria Howell talks with a few of our meteorologists about how to stay safe during a tornado. It’s already been an intense tornado season, but there are still a few months left and now is a great time to get prepared.
“But how, do you stay safe in a tornado?”
First, meteorologists say it’s important to listen for and follow a tornado watch—a warning to pay attention to the weather in your area—and, later, a tornado warning—used to indicate that a tornado has been spotted and action should be taken to ensure safety soon.
Experts say, however, that you should begin preparing yourself, your home and your loved ones for safety as soon as a tornado watch takes effect.
