More heat and humidity through the weekend

Boston reached over 90°F once again Wednesday. As long as the temperature hits 90°F tomorrow it'll be coming official heat wave. Many inland areas will definitely reach this mark.

Humidity levels are going to be oppressive with heat indices reaching triple digits again tomorrow, therefore there is a heat advisory posted. On Friday it's more of the same. There could be an isolated afternoon thunderstorm in all of this heat but most of us will remain dry. On Saturday it's hot but the humidity may break a little bit in the afternoon before returning on Sunday. Temperatures could reach close to 100°F during the weekend.

I enthusiastically shouted, 'Climate change!' — which he promptly shot down: 'No one wants to hear jokes about climate change, it isn’t funny.'"

"He had a point. The climate crisis, its deadly impacts, and the chronic injustices that underpin it aren’t inherently chortle-worthy. But for some, that’s exactly why comedy can be a powerful tool in how we deal with it."
